A user-friendly framework for the verification, design and scaling up of NbS
IUCN launched the Global Standard on Nature-based Solutions
On 23 July 2020, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) launched the first-ever Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to help implement strong NbS project to safeguard people and the planet. This new Global Standard will help the community of researchers, practitioners and policymakers to ensure the effectiveness of NbS and upscale the implementation of NbS while addressing different societal challenges. Stakeholders from all over the world joined both the launch event and high-level panel discussion to mainstream NbS across different sectors.
