"Communities within Bangladesh have been working with nature for many years to adapt to climatic impacts and there is a rich body of knowledge on how to implement Nature-based Solutions."
The community-based adaptation (CBA14) conference was held from 21st to 25th September 2020 had nature-based solutions (NbS) as one of the five action tracks, and different sessions were held to explore how nature-based solutions can be made to work for people, nature and climate. Tasfia Tasnim has written an article titled βIn harmony with natureβ by taking the messages from the CBA14 for scaling up NbS efforts for climate change adaptation. The closing plenary session of the CBA14 also highlighted the urge of the UK minister Zac Goldsmith: βTo allocate more finance to NbS to help tackle climate change, as there is no pathway to net-zero emissions without a major effort to protect and restore nature.β
